Vic Armijo / Cortez, CO.
June 17, 2011
Late this morning RAAM Media 1 encountered third place RAAM Solo Alberto Blanco just outside of Cortez, CO. At that point he’d logged nearly 800 miles and hadn’t slept yet. “I tried to get some sleep last night,” he said. “I was down for about 30 minutes but couldn’t get to sleep. I’ll try again tonight. I don’t think I’ll have trouble…at least I hope not.”
The American RAAM newcomer has surprised the RAAM pundits. He’s doing great! At last check he had about 45 minutes on 4th place Gerhard Gulewicz.
