Starvin' Marvin's BBQ in Pratt, Kansas has an awesome pulled-pork sandwich and is once again feeding RAAM crews and riders. They're located at 112 N. Main. The RAAM route passes right by.
Owner Marvin was a long-time employee at the Pratt McDonald's where for years the RAAM multitudes could go in and chow down on the house. When that McDonald's was sold the new owners didn't continue the tradition. But thankfully, Marvin parted from Micky D's and opened his own BBQ place and has renewed the free-food-in-Kansas policy, "I just think that what these riders do is great," Marvin says, "And I'm proud to be a part of it."
The food is great, service is quick and there's a full menu too. Pulled pork sandwiches are free to RAAM folk and other items are offered at a nice discount. I had the brisket...GOOD STUFF!
