Alberto Blanco: Shermer's Neck

2011 RAAM Solo Mens rider Alberto Blanco is dealing with Shermer's Neck, a syndrome where neck muscles that hold up the head cease working due to extreme fatigue.

Blanco began having the syndrome somewhere between Eastern Colorado and Kansas.

Media One photographer Vic Armijo posted earlier about Blanco's case of "Shermer's Neck."

I interviewed Mike Shermer in Oceanside the day of the start of the 2011 RAAM asking him what it's like to have a neck syndrome named after you.
